Kosher Pareve
Bob's Red Mill makes a diverse array of products in our dedicated gluten free facility, including gluten free baking mixes, flours, whole grains, seeds and cereals.
Dear Friends,
Since starting this company over thirty years ago, our mission has always been to offer the most diverse array of stone ground, whole grain products. About ten years ago, we noticed that some folks were exclusively buying gluten free grains like brown rice, sorghum and quinoa. Soon after that, we learned all about the gluten free diet and how important it is to millions of people like you.
Over the years we have introduced a variety of measures to ensure purity in our line of gluten free products that have become industry standard. We inspect all farm deliveries, use dedicated gluten free production facilities and employ batch testing in our quality control laboratory. Knowing that we're providing safe and delicious gluten free foods that you and your family can trust makes it all worth the effort
To your good health,
Bob Moore
Bob's Red Mill products labeled Gluten Free are batch tested in our quality control laboratory. We use an ELISA Gluten Assay test to confirm that a product is gluten free.
Suggested Use
What you'll need:
1 1/2 cups warm Water (110°F)
1 Yeast Packet (included) 1 whole Egg
3 Egg Whites
1/4 cup melted Butter, or Vegetable Oil
1 package Gluten Free Homemade Wonderful Bread Mix
Place warm water in a large mixing bowl.
Sprinkle yeast over the warm water and set aside for 5 minutes. Oil a 9x5 or 8x4-inch loaf pan and set aside.
Add egg, egg whites, butter or oil, and bread mix to the yeast mixture. Using an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix on low for 2 minutes. Turn the mixer off and scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Continue to mix on medium speed for 6 minutes more. If preparing by hand, mix with a wooden spoon until the ingredients are very well combined.
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan. Lightly brush the top with oil or melted butter, or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a very warm place until the batter reaches the top of the pan, about 45-60 minutes. While the bread rises, preheat the over to 350ºF.
When the bread has risen, remove the plastic wrap and transfer the pan to the oven. Bake until the crust is a deep golden brown and the interior temperature reaches 210ºF, about 90 minutes. If the crust begins to darken too much, cover with foil.
Carefully remove the loaf from the pan and place it on a wire rack. Let cool completely before slicing.
